Please submit your proposals for JJUG CCC 2022 Fall.
JJUG CCC 2022 Fall will be held on November 27th (Sun), 2022.
It will be held online by video and live streaming.
If your proposal is approved, You need to submit the session video recorded beforehand.

If you have any issue like language or anything else to submit your proposal, please feel free to contact us via email(jjug.ccc@gmail.com) or Twitter(Mention or DM to @JJUG)

If you are chosen as a speaker, we ask you to join a Slack channel for speakers.

Broadcast formats and session time

Your session will consist of the video streaming section and live streaming section for Q&A, demo and any other additional things.
In principle, you should join the live streaming after your recording broadcasts. When the schedule is decided, your time zone will be considered.

The total session time is 25 or 50 minutes as you choose, and the live streaming part is to be more than 10 minuets.
Therefore, the video you will submit should be up to 15 or 40 minutes (depending on your session time).

  • CfP: August 28th 2022 (Sun) 23:59 JST / August 28th 2022 (Sun) 14:59 UTC
  • Video submission: October 20th, 2022 (Thu) We will let you know the details after your session is selected.

Content

Sessions should be targeted at Java community members. Of course, the topic can be related to Java, but other topics are welcome if community members seem to be interested.

CfP format

Please describe your session abstract in the abstract section.

Please select Presentation Type, Level and Categories in the below of proposal page.
Also, you can answer to "Agree to publish your session video" and "Can web media cover you session?" at a proposal.
We will publish your talk on our YouTube channel after the conference if you answered "Yes".
Please answer "No" if you don't allow us to upload your talk on our YouTube channel after the conference or you want to upload it on your own YouTube channel or so on.
Some web media have an interest for our conference, they might cover some sessions.
Please select "Yes" if you allow them to do it for your session.
They may describe your session contents and your talk.

Experiences in talking at JJUG events

If you have two or more, please choose "Yes".

Level

Set a level from the following three options. "StepUp" session is only for the Japanese speakers.

  • Beginner: No prior knowledge about the session topic is necessary.　Introductory explanations should be enough contained.
  • Intermediate: The basic knowledge about the session topic are necessary. Applied contents should be contained.
  • Advanced: The whole session should be constituted of advanced and applied contents.

Abstract

Please describe your session in detail.
You can use "Message to committees" field as well if you would like to hide the session detail for attendees.
During the session, it is prohibited to advertise your products or recruit excessively (Only sponsors are allowed to do such things).
If you apply multiple sessions, please enter how many sessions you can have in the "Message to committees" field.

応募要項（日本語）

2022年11月27日(日)に行われるJJUG CCC 2022 Fallのセッション案を募集します。
今回はビデオおよびライブストリーミングによるオンライン開催になります。
セッションが採択された場合、事前に録画したセッション動画を提出していただきます。

選考通過後、スピーカーの方への連絡はスピーカー用Slackで連絡を取らせていただきます。予めご了承ください。

放送形式およびセッション時間

セッションは、ビデオストリーミングとライブ出演の組み合わせになります。
ライブ出演は原則として自宅から行っていただきます。

セッション時間は合計50分または25分で、そのうち終了前の最低10分間はライブで出演していただきます。
したがって、提出するビデオは最長40分または15分でお願いします。
ライブ出演では、チャットからのQ&Aやビデオセッションの補足を行なってください。

締め切り

  • CfP: 2022年8月28日(日) 23:59 まで
  • ビデオ提出締め切り: 2022年10月20日(木) 予定 (※詳細は、セッション採択後にご連絡します。)

内容

セッションは "Javaコミュニティ向け" の内容としてください。Javaに関する内容はもちろん、Javaに直接は関係ない内容であっても、コミュニティの興味が強いセッションを採択したいと考えています。

トーク概要

トーク概要は、できるだけ具体的に詳しい内容を記載してください。
ネタバレ防止などの理由で詳細に書けない場合、「ご連絡事項」に詳細を記載してください。
セッション中に、過度な商用製品の告知や人材募集などを避けるようお願いいたします（宣伝を伴うセッションは、スポンサーとしての参加をご検討ください）

JJUGへの登壇経験

JJUGへの登壇経験が2回以上ある場合は「Yes」を選択してください。

セッションの難易度

難易度は、セッションを理解するにあたり必要となる事前知識や理解度をもとに選択してください。受講者の総合的なスキルではなく、分野ごとの知識・スキルを判断基準としてください。

  • Beginner（初級者向け）： その分野について事前知識がない場合でも、セッション内容を十分に理解できること。概要や導入の説明が十分にあること。
  • StepUp（ステップアップセッション）： 下記「ステップアップセッションについて」を参照。
  • Intermediate（中級者向け）： セッション内容を理解するにあたり、概要やチュートリアルなどを通じて基礎的な学習が必要であること。応用的な内容が含まれること。
  • Advanced（上級者向け）： その分野について開発や業務などを通じた利用経験や前提知識がある人に向けた、応用的・発展的な内容で構成していること。

セッション動画の公開

また、「セッション動画の公開を希望する」と「メディア取材可否」への回答もお願いします。
Yesと回答していただくとカンファレンス終了後にJJUGのYouTubeチャンネルで発表動画を公開いたします。
カンファレンス後に発表動画を公開してほしくない場合や、ご自身のYouTubeチャンネルで公開したい場合はNoと回答してください。

メディア取材可否

ウェブメディアがJJUG CCC 2022 Fallを特集する可能性があります。
その際に本セッションを取材し、セッションの内容をウェブメディアが紹介しても良い場合はYesと回答ください。

ステップアップセッションについて

ステップアップセッションは、おもに学生や新卒社員から、数年の経験を経て初心者から一歩抜け出したい方までを対象にしたセッションになります。
Javaでシステム開発を行ううえで普遍的に役立つ基礎的な知識を、初心者にも分かりやすく解説してもらえるセッションを募集します。

募集するテーマの例：

  • データ構造とコレクションフレームワーク
  • 例外の扱い方
  • 文字列のエンコード、デコード
  • メッセージ文字列の扱い方
  • 設定値の扱い方
  • パターンとリファクタリング
  • 契約による設計
  • ビルドツールの使い方
  • 単体テストの作り方
  • その他、Javaを使ってソフトウェア開発に関わる上で必要な基礎知識

ステップアップセッションのCfPに応募する際は、セッションの種類の選択で「StepUp」を選んでください。
※ステップアップセッションの選考基準は、先進性よりも基礎を重視します。
